LinkedIn Connection Note Builder

Builds a connection note under LinkedIn's 300-character limit that opens with them — their work, their post, your shared context — instead of your pitch. Everything runs in your browser.

Your note appears here.
Alternate phrasings

Honest tip: connection notes without a pitch get accepted roughly twice as often as ones that sell. Connect first; the ask survives much better in message two, after they've said yes to knowing you.

About this tool

LinkedIn gives you 300 characters, and most people spend them on themselves — "I help companies like yours…" — which is exactly why acceptance rates on pitched invites are so bad. This builder inverts the structure: it opens with the one true thing you know about them (their post, a mutual contact, a shared room), keeps your own presence to a clause, and either skips the ask entirely or shrinks it to something a stranger could reasonably say yes to. The alternates exist because the first phrasing you generate is rarely the one that sounds like you — pick the closest and edit it in your own voice.

Nothing typed here is transmitted anywhere. The notes are assembled by plain JavaScript in your browser; no names, companies, or asks are logged or stored by this site.
