About this tool

The math is simple and transparent: cost per call = (input tokens × input rate + output tokens × output rate) ÷ 1,000,000, then scaled to 1K calls and to a 30-day month at your daily volume. The cheapest model for your exact workload is highlighted, since the answer often flips depending on your input/output ratio. The prefilled rates are representative mid-2026 prices for on-demand API usage — they are not live and don't include batch discounts, cached-input pricing, or volume tiers, so edit the rate fields to match your provider's current pricing page before making decisions.
