About this tool

A hand-rolled renderer covering everyday markdown: headings (h1–h4), bold, italic, inline code, fenced code blocks, bulleted and numbered lists with one level of nesting, links, blockquotes, horizontal rules, and pipe tables. It is deliberately not full CommonMark — edge cases like reference links, nested blockquotes, or HTML passthrough are out of scope. Input is HTML-escaped before rendering, so pasted content can't inject markup.

Your text never leaves the page — there is no server, no upload, and no tracking of tool inputs.
