About this tool

Combines hand-maintained ignore blocks for popular languages, frameworks, editors, and operating systems. Blocks are joined with section headers and identical lines are deduplicated, so combining Node with Next.js won't repeat node_modules/. The patterns cover the common cases — a project with unusual build tooling may still need a line or two of its own.

Nothing leaves the page — there is no server, no upload, and no tracking of tool inputs. The download is generated locally in your browser.
